Kerry A. Trapnell

Kerry started out in healthcare as a high school student assistant.  Since then, he has held several executive leadership roles at organizations for the last 25+ years.  

 

These leadership roles consist of Internal Auditor, Controller, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Consultant and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

 

Kerry has spent most of his career in healthcare, but also has experience in manufacturing and the service industry.

 

Kerry has helped many of these organizations become and remain very profitable.  With a background in finance, he is able to get into the details.  With a combined background in operations, Kerry is also able to see the "big picture" of the organization.  These attributes have helped Kerry rise through the corporate ranks very quickly over the years.

 

He has also been very involved in his local communities through non-profit boards and committee memberships for organizations such as Lander University Foundation, ​Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, Greenwood Partnership Alliance, March of Dimes, South Carolina Football Hall of Fame, Greenwood Promise Initiative, Elbert Chamber of Commerce, and many others.  He was awarded a "Greenwood Under 40 Star" in 2014 by the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce for his community involvement and business success.

Kerry and his family are members of South Main Street Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC, where he and his wife have served as pre-school teachers and in other roles. Kerry has also served on the Church's Finance Committee, as a Deacon and as a Trustee.

 

Kerry also enjoys working with professional athletes to help raise money for many different charitable organizations, primarily those dealing with issues such as healthcare, mental health, and education.  He has helped raise money for March of Dimes, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Connie Maxwell Children's Home, Hayden Hurst Family Foundation, George Rogers Foundation, Tajh Boyd Foundation, South Carolina Football Hall of Fame, Quality Deer Management Association and others.

Kerry takes great pride in helping others be successful. He relies on his faith in God and the principles that have been instilled in him over the years to be a leader with integrity.  He has also had many great business mentors over the years and he looks forward to helping you and your business as well.
